Air Berlin

Air Berlin, the second-largest airline in Germany, served domestically and internationally. With a fleet size of over 135 aircraft and a major hub at Berlin Tegel Airport, Air Berlin Flights flew non-stop to more than 170 destinations, including more than 40 countries in Europe, Africa, Asia, and North America.

Most of its aircraft had only Economy Class seating but the long-haul flights featured both Business Class and Economy Class cabins.

Being one of the low-cost carriers in Europe and true to time, it has won not only innumerable hearts but also many awards like Airline of the Year (2008), European Business Award (2009), Best Low-Cost Airline in Europe (2010), Business Travel Award (2010), and Brand Award (2011.)

Due to bankruptcy, Air Berlin Flights ceased its operations on 27 October 2017 and sold out everything it owned.

The prices were really cheap and every extra additional cost was mentioned in the same page. Totally impressed with the transparency.
