1. Who can I turn to for help once I'm traveling?

Once you start your trip, we recommend you get in touch with the Airline or a service provider in the city/country where you are situated. You can also call our helpline number 1-800-301-4346.


2. Can I request a special meal for my flight?

Most of the airlines charge for in-flight meals or no longer offer a meal service. But you can place a meal request while purchasing tickets online or by calling our Customer Service team at 1-800-301-4346. You can place your request for a special meal at least 24-hours prior to the scheduled departure. These requests are not guaranteed and are at the discretion of the airline.


3. Why am I receiving an error message regarding my credit card information?

To make a booking, your personal information like name, credit card number, address, and zip code must be entered exactly how it appears on your credit card statement. If the problem still persists, please contact your credit card company and confirm the information you're entering is exactly the same as they have in their records. Or you may try and make your reservation with another credit card. If you do not have another credit card, feel free to contact our Customer Service team for assistance at 1-800-301-4346.


4. How and when can I select my seats?

You can request for your preferred seat at the time of booking by selecting "Seat Preference" in the additional requests area while submitting traveler details.

Although we pass your seating request to the respective airlines (wherever applicable), we cannot guarantee that the request will be honored.


5. Can I call Travelslake directly to make a booking?

Yes, you can. Travelslake is happy to help you at any moment. You can call our Customer Service team at 1-800-301-4346 to make bookings directly.


6. Why did the fare increase abruptly while I was in the process of booking my flight?

Airfares are not certain and can change any minute based on demand and availability. Between the time of your flight search and actual booking, seat inventory in a particular booking class (fare) may sell out. While airlines offer their available inventory at an increased price, we monitor these changes closely and make every effort to keep inventory and fares in our displays as current as possible.


7. What do I expect from Travelslake if my luggage does not arrive at my destination?

You need to get in touch with the respective airline's support team as quickly as possible. They will help you out for sure.


8. Can I make changes in my name on airline tickets?

Name changes are not allowed under any circumstances. Once the ticket is issued, the name can't be changed. You can cancel your ticket within 24 hours of booking and re-book.


9. What types of documents do I carry to travel?

For a domestic flight, a government ID is required at check-in.

For international flights, a passport and a visa are required.


10. Can I travel with a one-way ticket to any country?

If you’re not a citizen of that particular country you cannot travel with a one-way ticket. You’ll be required to buy a round-trip ticket.


11. On International flights do I need to pay departure tax?

Mostly, yes. Most countries charge a departure tax at the airport on the day you are returning home which has to be paid in cash.


12. How many pieces of luggage can I carry?

Every airline has its own policy for baggage allowance. Check with the airline before departing for your trip. Extra luggage may be permitted by the airline by paying an extra cost.


13. Can I change the dates on my ticket or destination?

Yes, but the ticket has to be unused in order to change destination. It most certainly depends on the type of ticket you have.


14. Are senior citizens liable to get discounts?

Yes. Travelslake has special discounts for senior citizens, provided that a person will be considered senior if he/she is beyond the age of 60 years.


15. Can I earn a free airline ticket?

Yes. Once you join the flyer programme of the airlines, you earn a reward for every trip. After you travel a certain amount of times, the earned points can be redeemed in the form of a ticket.


16. When can I cancel my reservation if I'm not traveling?

A reservation must be canceled or changed at least 24 hours in advance from the date of departure.
